Franklin ship found!...

In 1845 the expedition to find the Northwest Passage ended in disaster for Sir John Franklin and his 129 men. 

The song named after the expedition's leader, is one of our favourites and has been popular in folk circles for many many years.

This month, a search which started in 2008, sponsored by the Canadian Government, successfully located one of Franklin's two ships, HMS Erebus and HMS Terror - it's unclear yet which of them it is.
